Covert Hypnosis--The Art Of Suggestion

So, since hypnosis just creates an altered state of mind, and since hypnosis revolves around the power of suggestion, hypnosis can be practiced in many different ways as a tool to modify people's behavior. For these reasons, hypnosis is used both therapy and the art of persuasion.

Covert hypnosis is the type of hypnosis that is practiced in the art of persuasion. Like any other kind of persuasion, covert hypnosis uses the art of suggestion to give you reliable results. However, because this style of hypnosis is covert, the suggestions that you'll be planting in people's minds will be way more indirect than the suggestions that are installed in people's minds through therapeutic hypnosis.

Covert hypnosis also utilizes all types of suggestion. This means that covert hypnosis uses non verbal suggestions just as much if not even more than it makes use of verbal suggestions. There can be nothing as covert and under the radar as suggesting something to people without having to even say a word to them.

Even the verbal types of suggestion that covert hypnosis uses are extremely hard for a person to detect. So, instead of saying something to someone directly, you will be saying it to them indirectly to the point where it will not be evident to the person whom you are talking to that you're actually suggesting to them that they do something that you want them to do. This is why covert influence is perfect to integrate into the art of persuasion, because you can modify people's emotions and decision making processes without them being conscious of it. This means it is unlikely anybody will try to resist you because they will not have any idea that that there are any suggestions for them to resist.

Another powerful hypnosis tactic that can be used is to use covert hypnosis to take control of different social structures that exist in any social environment that you may be in. The more power you have over a group or a class system, the more it will seem to others that you are a likable person and authority figure. When you appear to other people as an authority figure, your social value increases to the point where people become far more suggestible so that you can get what you want from them.
